| Hi Jim.
My wife Barbara and I had the great pleasure of attending your music set at Aspen in October last month.
We are now devoted fans of your music.
We purchased a copy of your CD "Music From The Mountains" while we were in Aspen and we LOVE it!!!
You have a very special gift and we thank you for sharing it with us.
Your music has filled a void left in me, by the death of John Denver.
I hope that you don't mind if I learn some of your songs and sing them at our local weekly jam session here in Utah.
I look forward to seeing you in Aspen next October and I hope that you will be able to sing a lot more of your songs then.
I know that Aspen In October is a tribute to John Denver but your songs are very much in the same spirit.
Have you ever played in Utah and will you be here any time soon?
There are several places in Salt Lake City that hold Acoustic events and you would be a very welcome addition.
If you are interested, I could email you the name of the organization and
contact person for bookings.
Thanks again for your music and your spirit, Dale Searcy. Roy, Utah. |

| Hello Jim, I can't believe after all these years, my search is
over. I have finally found Timberline! With all the concerts
Timberline had done over the years, I don't know if you ever
remember playing at a small college in northern Minnesota called
St. John's University. It was the winter of 1977/78. A snowstorm
raged that cancelled most all other activities in the area.
Fortunately for a small band of us, who trudged through the snow
and wind to see a concert of group no one had heard of, Timberline
went on stage that night. A strange and magical night developed
over the course of the concert and you touched us in a way that
none of us ever forgot. It may sound strange, but it is a testament
to your talents that this group of Fans still holds Timberline in
almost reverence. From that night on through the rest of our years
at St. John's, the Timberline album was always played when special
occasions happened and of course was the first and last album
played at our parties. It was our first rite of spring to play
Timberline for many years even after college(until the final
remaining copy of the album, and our copied tapes...sorry for the
copyright infringement...wore out). It has been almost 30 years,
and that group of friends from St. John's still talks about that
night at the concert and the music and magic that was made. We
don't get together as much anymore, but I am serious when I say
Timberline always creeps into the conversations. I just wanted to
say thank you for creating such magic in your music. I can hardly
wait for the delivery of the CD. It will be my Christmas present to
myself. I'll also pass along the website information to the St.
John's crew. I would bet there will be a few more orders coming.
Thanks again, Kevin |

| Hi Jim,
I saw Timberline back in 1977 at Oklahoma State. I think ya'll played with Head East. I promptly went out and bought "The Great Timber Rush". I pulled out my old albums last year only to find it and remember how much it stayed on my stereo during my college years. I have been looking online for a CD version every now and then for the past year or so and finally found you! Where have I been? You have some great music! I am printing out an order form now!
Do you ever come to Florida? Pensacola's a pretty nice place to visit!
I'm so glad to finally find this in CD format!
Thanks! |

| Jim,
I thoroughly enjoyed the John Denver Tribute concert last Saturday in Aspen. I thank you for coming to the "Let This Be a Voice" event in the Mountain Chalet. I came to Aspen this year with a mission to buy one of your CDs. After hearing "Bristlecone Pine," I knew exactly which one that I was going to buy. I had my wife come down to listen to it. She listened for a short period of time because she needed to get back to her studies. She commented that she liked it before going back upstairs.
I look forward to hearing you live again next year in Aspen. Its my hope that you guys and Mollie keep doing the tribute concerts in Aspen for many more years. Its so great to hear you perform for us.
Best regards,

| Hello Jim, I know we don't know each other but someday I think we may meet. I was a big fan of Timberline back in the 70's. My friend had bought your first alblum and I just about wore it out. Today he still has it and I pull it out every chance I get. In the last couple of years I was blessed with the chance to spend time getting to know your uncle Ron and Kathy. I am also very good friends with your cousin Scott Frauen. We all together went on some camping trips and fishing trips. I am so sorry about our loss of Ron. The way I have finally found how to get in touch with you is through them. I was sitting at the funeral home when I heard your voice singing a song for him I couldn't belive it but I knew it was you. I got to met you mother and father that day great people. Just finally getting to know how to get the Timberline cd made my decade. Your family has told me they will get in touch with me if you ever play this area again. Looking forward to meeting you one of these days and also listing to your music now that I know how to get it. By the way got to spend some time with Chuck that night at Kathy and Ron's house. I will be ordering the Timberline cd. Please feel free to email me would love to here from you. Thank you so much for your music. Roger Pike; one of your biggest fans ever.

| Jim, my YEAR was made last night when I finally found Timberline on the web! For years and years I have been entering just "Timberline" and getting nothing, but finally entered "Timberline BAND" and voilla!! Anyways, my friends and I at St. John's University in Collegeville, MN used to enjoy your big Timberline album in the late 70s and early 80s, but I lost my cassette copy of it and have been MISSING YOUR MUSIC for too long! So, I'm ordering the CD version today, and also look forward to hearing more of you music. I am also a song writer, singer, performer and recording artist, but I simply love listening to that album and can't wait to get it. Finally, after looking at your site, I thought I'd share that I'm originally from Willmar, MN, where Peter Yarrow's wife grew up only a block away. He used to come sing at St. Mary's Catholic Church and Elementary School back when I was a kid, and he inspired me to keep playing piano, singing, and writing music. I look forward to more inspiration from YOU as I get to know your music, and refamiliarize myself to that awesome Timberline record. Thanks for that, and for future musical gifts to my soul. I always cried when I sang along with, "Sammy came from Illinois....." Peace to you, Tom Rime |

| I heard about Timberline in 1975 or 76 while attending Kearney State college. I heard them play a concert there that year. Coincidentally the little band I played guitar in at the time bought the old Voice of the Theater pa speakers Timberline had once used from Stanal Sound. The stenciled Timberline name was still on the side of the speakers. I bought their album and was very sad at learning of their breakup. Please put me on your mailing list Jim. |

| Jim,
I first heard your music and meet you at the 2003 Boy Scout Council Camporee in 2003 near DIA. My son Matt (Cub Scout at the time) and I were in the group of Eagle Scouts at the dinner before the arena show when you warmed up for us. I have been listening to your music ever since. I took some of your CD's to a memorial service for my father who passed away recently. I shared it with my mother and 6 sisters. Your music was very comforting and inspiring during this time. Looking forward to seeing you play in Summitt county this spring and summer. My son just joined a great Troop in Littleton. He wants to be an Eagle Scout also. Keep up the good work.

| In the late 70s, Timberline would come to play at WVWC in Buckhannon, WV. They could bring a listener to their feet faster than an group I could remember. We had many great memories of being on a non-drug high after hearing them play. What great times! |

| A year or two back, I was up late in my living room, listening to NPR with tears rolling down my cheeks, falling to music that I had never heard until that evening. Before then, it was only Neil Diamond and John Denver who summoned my tears with music. I made effort to remember the name "Jim Salestrom" and concluded that one day I would purchase the music that moved me so deeply. I still remember...and will, indeed, bring the enchanting melodies and heartfelt words into my home on a regular basis. What a wonderful contribution to music! |

My son Alex and I attended your concert in Kearney last nite. Thanks for coming back home to perform for us.
I went to school with you in Holdrege and Kearney. I remember probably one of your first performances in Jr High in Holdrege, just you and your guitar playing for our class.
I too have a daughter turning 21 this summer, I don't know where all the time has gone. Please keep writing and singing your songs for us to enjoy.

I don't know if you remember I was in a broadcasting class with you my Freshman year at UNK(then KSC). I remember getting hooked on the song "Timberline". I'm listening now online to your interview with Paul Wice on KGFW'S "Talk of the Town". I really enjoy your music. I live in Orlando, Florida now, and was curious if you ever played concerts down in this area? I'll check your concert schedule, and appreciate any other info. you can give me. Take care.

| Hi Jim,
Songs sung blue everybody has one but as far as yours are concerned they are usually fun and happy-not political. Soooo the note from Jim in Frisco was not appropriate and I would request it be removed. You are a wonderful song writer with great messages not pretending to be anyone else but yourself. Have a great 2006.
