In December
Jim traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to perform for one of his favorite
crowds - kids! The kids are always happy to join in the fun of Big
Lippin'. |

Once again, former band
members and friends came together at the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen,
Colorado in early October to celebrate the music of John Denver. This
year Jim was pressed into extra service - lead guitar and band leader
for the Saturday and Sunday night shows. |

On a glorious Colorado
fall day, Jim gave a concert at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Joining
him for the concert was Mary Huckins, Hereford Percy and John Sommers.

Never missing the chance
to sing with friends! Over the Fourth of July weekend Jim performed
with Jerome Gilmer, Chris Engleman, Mary Huckins and John Sommers. |

At the end of June,
Jim performed two benefit concerts for the John Novotny Emergency
Medical Fund in Breckenridge and Silverthorne. Joining Jim for the
3rd annual concerts, were Hereford Percy, Richard Lamb, Brian McRue
(and John Sommers for the first night). As a special treat this
year, Jim was also joined by Jim Horn and Chris Nole. |

| For
the last two years, at the Annual John Denver Tribute concerts
in Aspen in October, Jim, John Sommers and Dan Wheetman have
"auctioned themselves off" to benefit Challenge Aspen.
Each year, Harold Arnold has "won them." Mr. Arnold
has then donated the group to the Snowmass Chapel. This year
the performance, along with a great BBQ, was held at the Snowmass
Rodeo Grounds. The group was joined by Dan Forde, Mack Bailey,
Twirp Anderson, Tom Paxton and Ellen Stapenhorst. |

Playing at
the local hangout in the Bahamas! Even while on vacation, Jim took
the time to perform at a benefit for EICC, the local special education
school. With good food, great music and the sound of the ocean waves
just off the porch, a great evening was had by all. |

Darcy Farrow
has always been a favorite song of Jim's, ever since he heard John
Denver sing it to the "tech crew" backstage at Red Rocks
in 1972. Jim was 16 then and was working for the sound company that
night.
In 1993, during a benefit
concert in Aspen, Jim was singing Darcy Farrow, lost in the music
with his eyes closed, when all of a sudden a familiar voice started
singing next to him - it was John. They finished the song together. |
